About MFC
Rooted and founded in a tradition of caring for each other and caring for our communities, the Mennonite Foundation of Canada is a public charitable foundation for people of faith, making giving joyful and easy since 1974.
MFC is donor-advised, meaning that we sit on your side, providing advice, tax information and tools to help you support the causes you care about most. In 2007, MFC distributed over $8.1 million to more than 500 charities across Canada. About one-third of the almost $100 million in assets under management is used by churches and other charities in the form of mortgages and loans.
