At Mennonite Church British Columbia, we lean on MFC as our stewardship resource. When someone asks for a seminar on stewardship, I contact our local representative with the Foundation and he makes the link with the congregation. We recognize it as a ministry that we offer.
The will seminars have been very well received. People in the churches have come to expect that MFC is a resource they can use for preparing their wills. They appreciate that they can name the Foundation as the charity through which they channel their bequests. It simplifies things and makes it user-friendly.
