We are a conservative church in the way that we handle our money, so we needed somewhere we could feel comfortable investing. We felt that level of comfort with MFC. We believe in the kinds of things the Foundation is doing – supporting other churches and providing funding for church-related ministries. Over the past three years, we developed a relationship with the Foundation looking at a variety of training, education and seminars for our church in the area of stewardship. It’s absolutely important to teach what the Bible says about using our time, talent and treasure. That’s where much of the training and interaction with the Foundation has been – how do we transfer what’s said from the pulpit into how that practically works in the lives of our people?
