Will consultations

MFC consultants are available to meet with individuals to help with the planning of wills or estates. The role of an MFC consultant in this setting is to answer any questions and to serve as a sounding board for ideas. This is a free service that we offer to encourage estate planning.

Here are the steps:

1. A client calls to set up an appointment with a consultant.
2. The client meets with the consultant to discuss the issues and plan the details for the will.
   
3. The consultant forwards the client's instructions to them or to the lawyer of their choice, for the will to be drafted.
4. The client reviews and signs the completed will and pays the lawyer.
   
5. The client may ask the consultant if they qualify for for the MFC rebate.
