Students interested in being considered for this award should speak to the Scholarship and Bursary Committee of their respective schools.
Guidelines for selection of award recipients:
- The student is graduating from any of the schools on the recommended list of schools as outlined by the Fund settlors.
- The student is entering, in the fall of the current year, a provincially recognized patient care program or a program of study to obtain the necessary prerequisites for entrance into such a program (e.g.: nursing, chaplaincy, physiotherapy, laboratory, X-ray, medicine, pharmacy, pre-medicine, pre-physiotherapy, and/or others relative to patient care.)
- The student is recommended to the Foundation by the school’s Scholarship and Bursary Committee or equivalent group. This committee shall select a nominee from the students qualifying under #2 according to the school’s own policies and discretion.
- A qualifying student need not be a citizen of Canada, as long as the recipient qualifies otherwise under the above criteria.
