Managing God's Good Gifts

Managing God's Good Gifts

Managing God’s Good Gifts is a series of lessons designed to prompt group discussion on a variety of topics related to biblical stewardship. The underlying assumption in the lessons is that all we have is by God’s grace and that it matters, therefore, how we use these gifts. The lessons aim to encourage those who use this study material to pursue God rather than money and possessions as the focus of their loyalty.
Each lesson provides:

  • a DVD or video clip to stimulate discussion (approximately 7-12 minutes)
  • a key scripture and lesson focus
  • an introduction and commentary on the topic
  • suggested discussion questions, related scriptures and weekly activity

The lessons are primarily theological in their approach. However, many of the lessons are easily adapted to a more practical or technical slant. Many churches have invited MFC stewardship consultants to teach one or more lessons. Sometimes classes have studied the theological perspective of a lesson first and then the following week they have taken a more practical or technical approach.
